To become the most trusted haulage company in our jurisdiction by displaying and executing a high level of excellence with a laser focus on customer satisfaction
Darm’s Trucking started unofficially in the year 2020 when we acquired a contract with one of Jamaica's leading distribution companies to deliver food items to supermarkets, wholesalers, and retailers. Over time, we expanded our services, obtaining additional contracts from another food distribution company and two small farmers for delivering peppers and meats to the wharf. Additionally, we secured a contract with a small distributor of purified water and occasionally offered household removal services.
At times, customers have difficulties when transporting goods or services from one location to another, and Darm's offers the solution. Working in the delivery industry for over fifteen years has given Darm's the required knowledge and experience. This experience has not only enabled us to transport goods efficiently but has also helped us acquire essential skills in customer satisfaction.
The trucking industry holds significant prominence in the Jamaican market, and while Darm's Trucking occupies a relatively small segment, we take great pride in our honesty, dedication, and commitment, setting us apart from competitors. Our transparent care and unparalleled commitment to customer service have earned us a distinguished reputation.
I was contracted by a farmer to transport pork and beef to the wharf. Initially, I had to wait long hours before the meat was ready for transport. The farmer changed the pick-up location and contracted more workers to reduce wait time. The trust and dependability between DARMs and the farmer grew to the point he pays immediately after I pick up meats.
I remember one day, I could not make the pickup and asked another truck driver to do the Job. The other driver didn’t cool the meats enough, and some meat spoiled. Farm man was adamant that if Darms wasn’t available on a specific day, he would wait until we were available.
